Munshi, in historical and literary context is a term used for the learned language teachers in pre-British regime and since ages was used for the dedicated and loyal accountants of the business community in India.
In both the academic and professional accountancy fields, term is synonymous for practical skills, professional loyalty and above all ethical approach.
Their services were recognized even by the Royal British Empire as well, as one of them Abdul Karim, promoted the queen's Munshi in 1889, gave Queen Victoria lessons in Hindustani.
